Who doesn’t love a bit of GUAC??! It is the simplest recipe, and can so easily be added to most meals to create a certain zip and spice! Dip it, spread it or just inhale it.

I love knowing that this dish is something that literally involves 10 minutes of work, and just by adding all the nutritious and colourful ingredients into a food processor you will have an awesome Guacamole in a few short seconds. FoodByMaria has become a pretty damn busy person so this Guacamole is so ideal to have kicking around the fridge when you’re on a time crunch!

A really simple, flavourful and nutritious dip that can easily be substituted for store bought guacamoles!


  • All organic:
  • 3 large ripe avocados
  • 1/4 of a large red onion
  • 1 bunch of cilantro
  • Juice from one lime
  • Juice from half a lemon
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 8 heirloom cherry tomatoes – I suggest you use 2-3, mine was not thick enough, depends on what you fancy
  • 5 table spoons EVOO
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tbsp. franks hot sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. chilli flakes


  1. Into a food processor add all the ingredients
  2. Pulse for a few second
  3. Blend till smooth or until it reaches your preferred consistency
  4. Enjoy!
  5. This will last you a few days in the fridge, but that really won’t be a problem!
