I hope none of you are unfamiliar with Kombucha, because TRUEBUCH is the bees-knees. This local, raw, and organic Kombucha is brewed right here in Calgary, by a lovely couple. I actually had the liberty of meeting with Louisa, and my lord she is a gem.  We chatted – as I occasionally bombarded her with questions –  about TRUEBUCH when I discovered it is a two year old company.

They support many local companies, and have loads of beneficial initiavites – for example, if you purchase a bottle (photographed above) 10% of the proceeds go to different charities.

You can find their probiotic drink in several locations here in Calgary, and there are a variety of flavours that you can buy which are either bottles, or brewed on draught – which can be refilled!

Funnily enough I was not planning on blogging about this amazing product till I came up with a recipe to go along with it but then as I looked into my fridge this early, gloomy morning I realized I was almost out! So naturally I grabbed the bottles I had cleaned and stowed away and quickly photographed them to the best I could.

Honestly, TRUEBUCH Kombucha is probably, hands down one of the best Kombucha’s I have ever drunk, ever (I am practically a connoisseur).  With that being said I should probably tell you why I drink it, and why I think you should to!

Kombucha is:

  • Filled with Probiotics (healthy bacteria)
  • Helps improve gut flora
  • Helps give you energy
  • Detoxifying
  • Graet for your digestion
