Simple Smoothies Your Kids Will Love

Good morning everyone!

This morning I decided to come up with three smoothies, that are super easy to blend, and that will please everyone in your household – especially the little people of the family.  I created three recipes The Peanut Butter Chocolate Cup, Mean Green Machine, and Strawberry Pina Colada – left to right in the above photo.

So I am going to jump right into these recipes with you! All the ingredients are super accessible, nutritious, and filled with energy to keep your children in tune at school, and fierce at after school sports!  Summer is around the corner so these are also super simple for hot days where you cant be bothered to fuss around with crackers, and cheese for snack time!

Strawberry Pina Colada!

Into a blender add – in this order:

1 cup of coconut milk

1 cup of frozen pineapple

8 strawberries

2 dates

5 ice cubes

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 tbsp hemp seeds

1 tbsp flax seeds

Blend till smooth! Done!

Mean Green Machine

Into a blender add – in this order:

1 cup of coconut milk

2 bananas

The Peanut Butter Chocolate Cup

Into a blender add – in this order:

1 cup of Cacao Almond Mylk

1 banana

1 tbsp Cacao

2 tbsp peanut butter – freshly pressed

1/2 cup of oats

5 ice cubes

Blend until smooth and enjoy right away! Yum!

Ok that is is it guys.  Super simple directions.  All you need is a blender, and your ingredients! No fuss. No preservatives.  Just natural foods to help fuel your little ones to get through the day! Not only will they help keep them energized but it will help with their digestion, attention span, and blood sugar levels.  In the first recipe I added Chia, Flax, and Hemp my three favourite staple seeds! I add them to everything so I highly suggest you throw them into anything and everything that you possibly can!

I am off to go work on some other recipes for you lovely people but if you give these a go don’t be shy, leave a comment below!
