Preheat the oven to 425F. Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread tomatoes apart, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with a pinch of chili flakes, salt and pepper and bake for about 15 minutes, until tender and starting to burst. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
To make the crispy baguette:
Keep the oven at 425F. Using a bread knife, slice the baguette into 1-inch thick slices. Brush the baguette slices with olive oil on both sides and place in a single layer on a baking sheet. Toast for 8-10 minutes total, until golden brown, flipping halfway through. Set aside.
To assemble the butter board:
Make the hot honey by stirring together the liquid honey, chili flakes and dijon mustard. Set aside.
On a clean serving platter or cutting board, spread the softened butter over the board. Start by layering the cooled tomatoes (make sure they are room temperature or they will melt the butter). Next, add the jalapeno slices and walnut pieces, sort of filling in space as you go. Finally drizzle with the hot honey and another pinch of salt if needed. Serve with crispy baguette.
