3large pita bread with pockets, cut into triangles (each pita should yield about 6-8 triangles)
3tablespoonsextra-virgin olive oil
½tspgarlic powder
½tsponion powder
½tspground smoked paprika
½tspdried oregano
½tspkosher salt
¼tspground pepper
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400F and set a large baking sheet aside (don’t line with parchment paper).
Cut the pita in half and then into small triangles, about 6-8 triangles per half pita and add to a large sheet pan.
Mix the olive oil together with all of the spices in a small bowl.
Drizzle the olive oil mixture all over the pita triangles on the pan and use your hands to gently toss to coat the pita in the seasonings.
Spread the pita triangles out evenly on the baking sheet, making sure they’re not overlapping. Bake for 6 minutes, flip the pita chips, and then bake for 4-5 minutes more or until the pita chips are golden brown and crispy. Set aside to cool on the pan.
Enjoy on the day they're made, or store in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature.
