Who can enter?
The giveaway is open to legal residents of Canada and the 50 United States and D.C. who have reached the age of majority where they live.
When does the giveaway close?
Week 1 entries close August 17, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time.
Is newsletter signup required?
No. Newsletter signup is optional and does not affect your chances of winning.
How will winners be selected and notified?
One potential winner will be selected at random from eligible Week 1 entries in a drawing beginning August 20, 2026. A Canadian potential winner must correctly answer a skill-testing question. The potential winner will be notified by email and must respond within 48 hours. If the potential winner does not respond in time, is ineligible, or cannot accept the prize, an alternate winner may be selected.
Do I need to enter every week?
Yes. Each week is a separate giveaway. Submit a new entry each week you want a chance to win. Your Week 1 entry does not carry over.

The “Big Fat Greek Out Giveaway: Week 1” (the “Giveaway”) is sponsored by FOODBYMARIA INCORPORATED, Calgary, Alberta, Canada (the “Sponsor”).
No purchase is necessary to enter or win, and a purchase will not improve the odds of winning. Newsletter signup is optional. Automated, incomplete, or fraudulent entries are void.
The Giveaway is open only to legal residents of Canada, the 50 U.S. states, and D.C. who have reached the age of majority where they live. Employees, officers, directors, and agents of the Sponsor and participating prize partners, and members of their immediate families or households, are not eligible. Void where prohibited.
The Week 1 entry period begins at 12:00 a.m. Mountain Time on August 11, 2026 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time on August 17, 2026.
How to enter
Visit this page during the Week 1 entry period and submit the official entry form with your name and email address. Limit one Week 1 entry per person and email address. Newsletter signup is optional and does not affect your chances of winning.
Prizes
One Week 1 prize package will be awarded. It has an approximate retail value under US$2,000 and contains the six items shown above. Product colors may vary from the images shown.
Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash unless required by law. A prize of equal or greater value may be substituted if an advertised prize becomes unavailable. Any third-party prize is also subject to the issuer’s terms.
Winner selection and notification
One potential winner will be selected at random from eligible Week 1 entries received. The random drawing will begin August 20, 2026, no earlier than 48 hours after the Week 1 entry period closes. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Week 1 entries. A Canadian potential winner must correctly answer a skill-testing question before the prize is awarded.
The potential winner will be notified by email at the address used to enter within two business days after the drawing and must respond within 48 hours after the notification is sent. Entrants are responsible for monitoring that email account, including spam and junk folders. If the potential winner does not respond in time, is ineligible, or cannot accept the prize, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.
Potential winners may be required to provide eligibility, release, or tax documentation before a prize is awarded.
Releases and publicity
By entering, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, participating prize partners, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from claims arising from the Giveaway or a prize, except where prohibited by law. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, corrupted, or undeliverable entries or for technical failures beyond its reasonable control.
Except where prohibited, acceptance of a prize grants Sponsor permission to use the winner’s first name, last initial, city, state, or province for winner announcements and promotional purposes without additional compensation.
Privacy
Entry information will be used to administer the giveaway and contact potential winners, and will be handled according to Food by Maria’s Privacy Policy. Marketing emails will be sent only to entrants who select the optional newsletter checkbox, and they may unsubscribe at any time.
General conditions
The giveaway may be cancelled, suspended, or modified if fraud, technical failure, unauthorized intervention, or another cause beyond reasonable control affects its integrity or operation.
The Sponsor’s decisions regarding eligibility, winner selection, and administration of the Giveaway are final, subject to applicable law.
