All you need is seven ingredients – ones that you probably already have in your pantry and 10 minutes of active prep time + proofing and 30 minutes of cook time! Here’s all you need — you got this bestie!

- 3 cups bread flour (or all purpose flour) - we used @bobsredmill
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 6 tbsp warm whole milk
- 1 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp active dry yeast - @fleischmannsyeast
- 3 tbsp olive oil

This dish is inspired by the iconic and Viral FoodByMaria recipe Kotopoulo Me Patates Lemonata Sto Fourno. If you’ve tried that recipe (or my Greek Lemon Chicken and Rice) then you’re going to love this hot American take!

This is truly the simplest family dinner! Not only is is easy AF but it’s DELICOUS!! I mean, common, look at that texture and the cheeeese. Fluffy rice, juicy cooked to perfection chicken, broccoli and cheese… damn. What I love most about this dish is that if teaches the techniques to cooking with passion and instinct! Not everything has to be over complicated, one pot recipes are the best and pack punch! Cooking the chickecn on high heat till seared to perfection brings a base level of flavours to this dish that you can’t ignore!

You can serve this dish as is or with a side of steamed greens or a fresh fall salad.
