Coconut Water infused with Fresh Fruit and Kombucha

Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope everyone is well and ready to conquer the rest of the week. For those of you who had to second guess whether or not you are ready to kick this weeks butt this drink is for you! Filled with nutrients, probiotics and antioxidants to help you power through your work day, busy day home with the kids, or that dreaded late night work out that you just have to fit in!


For those of you knew to Probiotics here is a little briefing for you!

So they are amazing for:

Digestive Health (particularly awesome for people with IBS)


Urinary Health

Women’s Health

Blood Pressure



And can be found in:

  • Yogurt
  • Kefir
  • Kombucha
  • Kimchi
  • Sauerkraut
  • Miso
  • Tempeh
  • Some soy beverages.

Adding just a few of these foods to your diet will honestly change your whole world, ha! They’re just that amazing.  I also take probiotic tablets every night before bed – as you’re meant to take them with as little as possible in your tummy.  I have been taking Ultimate Flora by Renew Life and they’ve been nothing but amazing to me so far!


So I am not sure if you have caught the hint yet…. but you if you did not you should definitely consider incorporating more Probiotics into your diet.  It really helps you stabilize your mood, and just in general makes you feel more clear, and ready to focus on every day tasks!


So overall, I concluded that this drink is amazing.  It is perfectly refreshing and super easy to make, oops, apart from one thing…. opening the young coconut is kind of tricky (especially if you do not have knife skills, you know who you are). Don’t be ashamed if you are not experienced with knives, I anticipated some of you lovelies may be so that is why I have linked exactly how to do it, here. I don’t want anyone to get hurt so watch this youtube video very carefully, and hopefully this will help you all reach for that coconut next time you see one at the market or grocery store!

I will be posting a very similar recipe this week, but a more cheeky version as I will be incorporating alcohol for my birthday bash with the girls this weekend (I never go out, so this is my excuse..).

Coconut Water infused with Fresh Fruit and Kombucha

  • 1 bottle Brew Dr. Spiced Apple Kombucha
  • 1 Young Coconut
  • 1 pint of soda
  • 1 blood orange
  • 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup of frozen raspberries
  • a few slices of green apple


  1. Prepare all your fruits by cutting into thin or thick slices, and set them aside.
  2. Now open the young coconut, refer to video I have linked in the post!
  3. Into a large jug combine all of your ingredients, and stir gently without blending all the colours too much!
  4. This drink is seriously so refreshing, and I will be adapting it this week… because I want to add Gin to it, so stay tuned!
