When @thegoldenbalance shared these months ago, I tried them with beef and they were phenomenal. You all agreed! So we’re bring it back for round 2, but this time with a non-traditional chicken and feta filling.

Arayes are a classic Lebanese & Syrian street food. (There’s also an Egyptian version called Hawawshi.)

They’re fried or grilled meat-stuffed pita that is popular in Middle Eastern cuisine. They are usually stuffed with minced meat like beef or lamb, along with a combination of aromatic seasonings and spices. Think of them as a better, Middle Eastern version of a pizza pocket. These are so tasty and your whole family will love them (even the picky eaters).

They’re incredible easy to make, perfect for a quick dinner and a party friendly!

Arayes are usually served with a creamy Tahini or Yoghurt Sauce.
