This is one of the easiest whipped feta recipes and it's perfectly paired with peaches for a summer burst of sweetness and added health benefits.

I LOVE whipped feta. It’s creamy, it’s versatile, and it’s so easy-to-make. This list of some of my favorite whipped feta recipes will be a bucket list you didn’t know you had, and a go-to reference for easy appetizer recipes for when you need to whip (literally) something up quick.

Why you’ll love these whipped feta recipes:

  • Easy: Whipping up feta is as simple as throwing it into a food processor or blender with complimentary ingredients (sweet or savory) and that’s it
  • Versatile: Add in your favorite fixings to your whipped feta, or sprinkle your fav toppings on top. Serve with crackers, bread, veggies, or even as a spread
  • Carotenoid-rich: The recipe below in the recipe card is made with carotenoid-rich ingredients like peaches for an added gut-health

Ingredient Notes:

Feta: Did you know that feta actually contains more calcium than many other cheeses? It can help you maintain healthy teeth and bones. It’s also high in phosphorus, and when phosphorus is combined with calcium, it can really help improve bone density.

Peaches: Peaches are not only in-season in the summer months but they are also a carotenoid-rich food. Carotenoids are a class of pigments that are known to be anti-inflammatory and can positively impact cellular, ocular, and cardiometabolic health. Peaches also can help improve your gut immune system and a healthy gut microbiome which is something I find very important in helping me (and my gut) feel its best.

How to make whipped feta:

  1. Make the whipped feta by adding the feta cheese, feta brine, lemon juice, olive oil and lemon zest to a food processor and pulse until smooth and light.
  2. Make the peaches by adding a drizzle of olive oil to a pan and turning to medium heat; add the peaches and cook for 5-8 minutes until the peaches start to break down and turn into more of a jammy texture. Remove from the pan to a bowl and set aside to cool. (Alternatively, you could saute the peaches for just 1-2 minutes and then set aside in a bowl to cool).
  3. To make the hot honey, in a small bowl mix together the liquid honey, chili flakes and hot sauce. Taste and adjust by adding more chili flakes or hot sauce for a spicier honey.
  4. Once the peaches have cooled, assemble the dip by layering the whipped feta on a plate or in a low bowl. Next layer the peaches followed by tomatoes, pistachios and drizzle with desired amount of hot honey. Serve with fresh or toasted pitas.
