Pizza and pie are two foods that please just about anyone, including myself. So what's better than combining the two of them in a sweet prunes and granny smith apple pizza pie?
This recipe is the perfect combination of tartness, from the granny smith apples, and sweet, from the dried prunes, a fruit that is in my opinion, underrated.
Tis the season to eat Stuffing falalala lala la la! I love this stuffing! Its easy, it's fuss free and its MEATLESS!!! Sure, sure, no meat, no flavour?! Bull shit! Its packed to the brim with character, crunch and aromas! I love this because it's made with staple household ingredients and can literally be made by anyone!

This recipe is perfect for the holiday season. It's filled with nuts, veggies and goodness which will complete any holiday dinner. Who ever made the rule that you needed to have turkey at a holiday dinner anyway?
Tis the season to be jolly, with these bars, la la la la! Oh man, where do I start. First off, this isn't another one of my vegetable recipes, so thank me later. Although it has no vegetables, apart from pumpkin, it is the perfect plant based diet recipe to add to your list. I used organic +natural foods and a special little ingredient too, Genuine Health's fermented organic gut superfoods+ Orange Ginger.
Yes, that's right, you see what I see. You see Potato Mushroom Onion Pot Pies and your eyes are telling you that your stomach is very very hungry. Suddenly, you stop what you're doing and you run to the kitchen to make these delicious, perfect little pot pies. Don't worry, I don't judge you if you all four and don't share them... they're just that good baby.
I feel so guilty posting this recipe but so happy all at the same time! I couldn't go much longer wondering if my favourite Greek soup could be transformed Vegan, and guess what? It can be and damn baby, it is gooood!!
I must admit, Andrew still asks me to make this soup as traditionally done and since we do still eat eggs occasionally I am totally ok with that. I have mentioned to you all before that I am not Vegan. I am not Veggie. I am not anything. I eat what my body asks for and most of the time that is plant-based, nourishing foods. The foods I eat make me feel good, help keep my nourished and strong, so at the end of the day that makes me happy. Suffering with Bulimia for so long really opened my eyes to new ways of loving and appreciating food and I can't bring myself to add Vegan or Vegetarian to the mix right now. Why? Well, I am afraid that would trigger restriction in my heart and that really frightens me.
THE BEST DAMN LASAGNA EVER! This meal is going to blow your mind, yes, it takes a bit more time than the usual culprits but it is so worth it! Andrew and I really struggled not to eat all of this after it was made (we had to wait to photograph it), and damn was that ever hard!
‘Tis the season that your schedule becomes jammed with holiday parties, family commitments and everything in between. It’s also the time of year where temptations of unhealthy food is all around us and we become so busy we lose sight of eating healthy.
When the cool fall weather starts to approach, and the days get shorter, there’s nothing better than curling up in some fuzzy socks after a long day with a big plate of comfort food. Casseroles have literally been around since the 20s and have been known as the one-dish meal that you can cram a whole whack of goodness into (without spending the whole night in the kitchen).
This recipe is one of my favourites for the fall and winter because it seriously warms my soul. The best part is that it’s super simple to make and you’ll have leftovers for lunch or dinner the next day! It’s the meal that keeps on giving.
Holy Guacamole, did someone say Nutty Dark Chocolate + Strawberry Chia Jam Cheesecake? Yep, I did and this cake is entirely inspired by my childhood addiction. I know what you're thinking, Maria was healthy when she was young... HAHA NOPE! I wasn't addicted to vegetable recipes and vegetarian recipes, I was a full on CAKE ADDICT! I'm not kidding guys I would eat DQ Ice Cream Cake at any opportunity and half the time it wasn't even my damn birthday *sigh* - poor parents .
Are you tired of all your fresh, gorgeous herbs always going to waste? Well, I was - not to mention the fact that I am notorious for killing plants and herbs because 1) its too hot in my house and I can't keep up with watering 2) I just kill them, I don't mean to but I am no green thumb. Anyway, enough about me and more about these gorgeous, clever and time saving Olive Oil Pods!
They're the perfect way to quickly add flavour to all your vegan vegetable recipes and vegetarian recipes! You can jazz them up in class by ensuring you use natural and organic foods (herbs in this case) to make sure you're getting the best quality into each dish.
